The Isle of Lewis in the Scottish Outer Hebrides is only served by the Port of Stornoway. It provides a sole link between the island and Scottish mainland.
Amenities at the ferry terminal aren't extensive; however, it is positioned in the middle of the town, so options for eating and shopping are widely available. Within walking distance of the ferry terminal you'll find co-op supermarkets and a Safeway super market, they are a good choice for all kinds of convenience products.
Physically disabled passengers are catered for aboard the vessel by helpful staff, though travellers are recommended to notify staff of any special assistance when making their booking.
