Ferry to Norway

However Fiordline now no longer operates any ferry crossings from Newcastle, England.
You can book crossings between Norway and Denmark from the following ports, Oslo, Kristiansand, Stavangar, Bergan in Norway and Hirtshals, Frederikshavn and Copenhagen in Denmark.

Bergen, the capital, known as the 'Gateway to the Fjords' has great nightlife, plenty of museums and hosts the Bergen International Festival for the arts each year. Oslo has numerous museums inlcuding the Munch Museum, where you can see the works of Edvard Munch before looking round its historical buildings such as the Royal Palace open to the public in the Summer.
Norway has its share of UNESCO World Heritage sites and in Luster you can visit the only stave church on the list at Urnes Stave Church dating back to the 12th century. Another is The Geirangerfjord one of Norway’s most visited fjords where you can take part in fishing, canooing and take one of the many fjord cruises on offer across Norway.
