Transport To and From Plymouth
There are numerous transport options to and from Plymouth Port. The facility is positioned near several excellent motorways that connect the port to other areas of Great Britain.
Bus and shuttles from Plymouth
There is always the option to use National Express' coach services from cities including Bristol, Newquay and London's Victoria Station. The coaches follow routes into Plymouth's centre. A short drive by taxi will get you to and from the port.
Car hire and road travel from Plymouth
If you are traveling by car, drive along the M5 to Exeter, and change onto the A38. This leads all the way to Plymouth. Upon approaching Plymouth, follow the A374 and follow directions for the centre. Once you near the centre, you will notice that the port is signposted very well. Just follow the signs to the terminal.

Rail from Plymouth port
Trains run scheduled services from Paddington station in London to Plymouth with a travel time of 3 hours, 30 minutes. Plymouth Railway Station can be found near the city centre, which is a fast taxi drive to and from the port's terminal.

There is a car park facility positioned to the side of the passenger terminal suitable for both short-stay and long-stay parking, the parking service is free of charge.
