Port of Ijmuiden services

Situated on the North Sea, to the northwest of Amsterdam, the port of Ijmuiden provides daily ferry services to Newcastle in England and is also a significant fishing port. Ijmuiden offers an alternative way in which to travel to the Dutch capital from England's northeast.

Passenger amenities at the terminal aren't extensive but provide a gift shop, newsagent, a convenience store and hot and cold snacks vending machines. The ferry terminal can be accessed by wheelchair and also available nearby are parking spaces for both short-duration and long-duration, as well as designated parking areas for physically disabled motorists.

DFDS Seaways operates ferry services between the Port of Ijmuiden and the Port of Newcastle in England. Two of the company's crafts run this route, with an overnight crossing in each direction and a voyage time of approximately 15 hours.
