Belfast Port Ferry Information
Belfast ferry port is located on the north east of Northern Ireland and close to Belfast city centre.
The port of Belfast is the busiest passenger port in Northern Ireland, handling up to two million passengers annually. The port offers 49 weekly passenger and vehicle ferry sailings. Destinations include: Liverpool, Stranraer in Scotland, and the Isle of Man.
Belfast is the capital of Northern Ireland and there are numerous interesting attractions within the city including museums, Belfast Zoo, parks and gardens, theatres and to see these and other historic places hop on their city sightseeing bus. As with any city there are plenty of shops, restaurants and nightclubs.

The port of Belfast deals with two-thirds of Northern Ireland's seaborne trade and almost 20,000 ships pass through the harbour each year.
There aren't many facilities at the port, although in the departure section of the terminal, soft drinks and snacks are available and there is an ATM in the departures lounge. Candy and snacks are provided by vending machines which are positioned in the arrivals section. There is a large car park adjacent to the terminal.
In the motorist terminal, adjacent to the car lanes, vending machines are available as well.
Disabled travellers will find designated amenities at the terminal, with specially designed toilets available. All sections of the port can easily be accessed by wheelchair.
There are three ferry terminals used by the three ferry operators Stena Line, Norfolkline and Steam Packet at Victoria Terminal's and IOM Steam Packet terminal.
Norfolkline Ferries sail from Belfast to Liverpool Birkenhead. Sailings are twice daily except Monday when there is just 1 sailing. Journey time approx 8 hours on both daytime and night crossings.
Stena Line operate crossings from Belfast to Stranraer twice a day except Monday when they offer 1 crossing only. Journey time 2 hours on their Stena HSS and 2 hours 50 minutes on their Superferry.
Isle of Man steam Packet Company sail from Belfast to Douglas Isle of Man once a week taking 2 hours 45 minutes.
