Swansea Ferry Port
Swansea ferry port is located in South Wales with easy access to the M4. Swansea is less than three miles (five kilometres) by dual carriageway from junction 42 of the M4 motorway. Swansea has developed a significant trade base in the Mediterranean as well as with Western and North Europe and the Irish Republic and Northern Ireland.
Swansea Cork Ferries operated a ferry service from Swansea to Cork Ireland until 2006.
Swansea Ferry Services
Operations have now ceased the decision made after Swansea Cork Ferries could not find a replacement for its ship the MV Superferry.
Since then it is now confirmed that the service will be re-started in March 2010 by Fastnet Line, who will offer regular crossings between Cork and Swansea.
