Stranraer Ferry Port by Car

From M6/A74 - Take the M6 then A74 and continue past Carlisle to Gretna. Then take the A75 west signposted to Stranraer. Once you are near Stranraer follow the signs for the Ferry Port which is located close to the Town Centre.

From A77 - If you are travelling from the North, take the A77 Coast Road from Ayr to Stranraer.

Stranraer Ferry Port By Rail

Stranraer railway station is located next to the Stena Line Ferry Terminal. Travel times from Glasgow - 45 minutes and Edinburgh - 60 minutes.

Parking at Stranraer Ferry Port

Long stay car parking is just 200 metres from the terminal. The car park has floodlighting at night. Parking is free of charge but is not a secure car park and therefore owners leave vehicles at their own risk. There are dedicated parking facilities for the disabled.

There is also a short stay car park opposite the terminal. Maximum waiting time is 20 minutes, so this car park is mainly used as a pick up or drop off point.
