Newhaven Ferry Port by Car:
From London/M23/Brighton: If travelling from London take the M23 and then take the A27 Brighton to Eastbourne road. Drive past Lewes and then take the A26 to Newhaven. Once in Newhaven follow signs to the port.
Newhaven Ferry Port By Rail
Newhaven ferry port has its own station Newhaven Harbour Station and is just a short walk to the ferry terminal. Trains from London to Newhaven generally require one change. Local services run from Seaford, Lewes and Brighton to Newhaven.
However LD Lines currently ask that Foot Passengers arriving by train must alight at Newhaven Town Station AND NOT Newhaven Harbour Station.
Newhaven Ferry Port By Coach
National Express operate a regular coach service from London Victoria and other UK pick up points to Newhaven. A regular local bus service follows daily routes to and from Brighton, Seaford, Peacehaven, Dover, Bexhill, Rye, Folkestone and Hastings.
