Transport to and from Bilbao

The port of Bilbao is well linked by road. The city of Pamplona can be reached by car within two hours. Barcelona can be reached in six hours, Madrid in four hours, Bordeaux in France, within four hours and Milan in about 12 hours.

Bus and shuttles from Bilbao

All buses following routes to other Spanish provinces leave from the TermiBus Terminal. Car hire and road travel from Bilbao

The Bilbao ferry port can be accessed by car from Santander in the west and Madrid and Barcelona in the east via the A8. Drive along the N644, turn off and follow this road to the ferry port.

Rail from Bilbao port

There are direct links by trains with the principal Spanish cities and the entire Iberian Peninsula. The RENFE railway station is situated on Plaza Circular 2.
