The Port of Weymouth operates two principal passenger ferry navigations, both of which are run by Condor Ferries. Ferry crossings between the Port of Weymouth and Guernsey and Jersey are available daily.
Weymouth to Guernsey ferries
There is one daily ferry service available between the Port of Weymouth and St Peter Port on Guernsey. Condor Ferries operates the sea voyage, with the journey normally taking the craft 2 hours, 15 minutes to reach Guernsey from the Port of Weymouth.
St Peter Port has the reputation as being one of the most historic towns in Great Britain. The ferry terminal only a 10-minute walk or a five-minute ride from the centre of the town. The ferry terminal building boasts plenty of shops and restaurants. Ferry services include services to Jersey, southern Britain and northern France.
Weymouth to Jersey ferries
Ferries leaving for St Helier, on the southernmost British Isle of Jersey, depart once a day, with an average sailing time of 3 hours, 30 minutes. Condor Ferries operates this route. Jersey is 100 miles (161kms) from mainland Britain and just 14 miles (22.5kms) from France. It is a tiny island, with the port and capital of St Helier also being small in size. Primary ferries links from the island include services to Poole, Weymouth and Guernsey, in the UK, and to St Malo, in France.
