Scrabster to Stromness Ferries
There are three return crossings daily between Scrabster - Stromness weekdays and two daily crossings on weekends. During the high season (mid-June to mid-August) sailings increase to three crossings per day on Saturdays to meet the extra travellers demand. Ships operate from early morning to night and the sailing duration is approximately 1 hour, 30 minutes.
From Stromness port it is easy to access the lively town of Stromness and, like Scrabster harbour, recently it has been significantly expanded to include a tourist centre. A minibus follows routes to Stromness, less than halve a mile to the north of the port.
