Brittany Ferries has ships that navigate the western Channel, with the ferry company operating a fleet of conventional cruise vessels and super-fast catamarans. All of their operational crafts offer outstanding onboard passenger amenities including dining, shopping and a variety of live entertainment. The company's largest craft is the highly advanced £100 million Pont-Aven, which runs on the Santander-Plymouth route.

From Santander Port, Brittany Ferries offers two weekly crossings between Santander and Plymouth in Devon, England. The Pont-Aven navigates this route. This luxurious flagship has been operational since March 2004 and features numerous facilities including a five-deck high atrium, a wrap-around promenade, a swimming pool, a leisure area and comfortable onboard cabins.

Further onboard features include a currency exchange service, children's play area, movie theatres, a main bar, slot machines, a cocktail and piano bar, a self-service and a main restaurant, pool bar, video games area and a coffee shop.

The ship is capable of accommodating 2,400 people and has a capacity for 650 cars and 20 trucks. Onboard there are 652 cabins available and 47 comfortable, reclining seats. The craft is 600 feet long and is able to reach a maximum cruising speed of 27 knots. The duration of the journey from Santander to Plymouth is about 20 hours, 30 minutes.
