The vessel which is operational on the Pembroke-Rosslare service is the Isle of Inishmore. Its name given to honour the renowned Irish island, this vessel provides outstanding onboard amenities including first class dining, a 'cyber' zone, play area for kids, a shop selling souvenirs and gifts, a tea bar, a bar, and a casino.
The Isle of Inishmore reaches a maximum cruising speed of 21.5 knots and can accommodate 2,200 people and has a car capacity of 856. The modern craft was constructed in Rotterdam, Holland and has been operational since 1996.
