There are two ferry services operating from the Port of Larne. Both sailings are run by P&O Irish Sea Ferries providing services from Larne to Troon and Larne to Cairnryan both in Scotland.

Larne to Cairnryan ferries

The busiest and most established ferry crossing on the Irish Sea is the Larne to Cairnryan route. Three conventional fast vessels operate eight return crossings each day between the two ports. The duration of the journey is from just one hour.

Situated on Scotland's southwest coast, the Port of Cairnryan boasts outstanding passenger and cargo amenities, with a relaxing concourse, a play and fun area for kids, baby changing areas, a snack-bar, a convenience shop and sufficient designated amenities for physically handicapped passengers.

Larne to Troon ferries

P&O Irish Sea provides the seasonal summer only service sailing between Larne and Troon. This service is only available from March to October. There are two daily services on this route with a voyage time of less than two hours.

Positioned to the north of Ayr, the Seacat Terminal at the Port of Troon is easy to reach by car and features a vast comfortable lounge and several vending machines where cold and hot fast foods are available. The wonderful natural port is now home to a large marina and is arguably the chief boating centre in the Firth of Clyde. Troon is an ideal base from which to travel to the Isle of Aran, outlying Hebrides, or other picturesque islands or drive inland to visit the cosmopolitan city of Glasgow.

Larne to Fleetwood ferry

Stena Line no longer offers the Larne to Fleetwood ferry route. This service stopped on December 24th, 2010.
