There is now just one passenger ferry company operating from Larne ferry port - P&O Irish Sea Ferries.
You can catch a ferry from Larne to Cairnryan throughout the year and Larne to Troon during the summer months.
P & O Irish Sea Ferries
P & O Irish Sea ferries operate up to eight crossings per day from Larne to Cairnryan in Scotland. Choose from their Fast Ferry taking just one hour or their Superferries with a crossing time of two hours.
If travelling from Larne to Troon this service operates in the summer season between March and early October. There are up to 2 crossings per day taking 2 hours.
P & O Irish Sea part of P & O Ferries boasts one of the largest ferry fleets operating across UK, France, Holland, Belgium and Ireland. It operates a modern fleet with its latest Ferry Spirit of Britain launched in January 2011.
Cairnryan Superferries
P & 0 operate two Superferry craft, the European Highlander and European Causeway. Both provide a leisurely cruise between Cairnryan and Larne. On board facilities include a quiet comfortable lounge to rest and unwind in. A shop with something for everyone, childrens play areas and for those looking for some food or drink, Fables restaurant, or for just a snack or drink you can choose from the Poets Bar or Costa Coffee shop.
Troon Fastcraft
The P & O Express Fastcraft to Troon offers similar onboard facilities to the Superferry. Dine in their Fables Restaurant where there's a great selection of hot meals. Or for a Coffee and Pastry try the Harbour Coffee Company. You won't spend long on the Fast craft but your journey will be just as enjoyable, if you have time there is also the Seashop with a selection of gifts.
