The main ferry terminal is positioned in King George Dock and is run by P&O North Sea Ferries Company. Amenities in the terminal aren't extensive, with just a little coffee shop and a convenience store.

Physically disabled travellers will find designated facilities in the terminal and onboard the crafts. Toilets can be easily accessed as well public telephones and other amenities. Special assistance for boarding the vessels can be arranged when booking.

There are daily crossings from Hull to Rotterdam in the Netherlands, provided by P&O North Sea Ferries. Crossing time is 10 hours 15 minutes. P&O ferries also sail to from Hull to Zeebrugge in Belgium daily. Sailing time is 12 hours 45 minutes.
