Ferry routes from Guernsey

The Port of Guernsey offers five ferry crossings. There is one sailing to St Malo in France, one to Jersey and three to British mainland. Condor Ferries operates all five sea voyages and both conventional and fast vessels serve the routes.

Guernsey to Jersey ferries

The inter-island route, Guernsey-Jersey, is available all year round. Condor Ferries operates two daily crossings between the two Channel Islands with a sailing duration of approximately 1 hour. The Port of Jersey can also be found in its capital, St Helier. The town boasts several restaurants, and shops, including duty-free shopping.

Guernsey to Poole ferries

There are two daily sailings to Poole on the UK mainland, which is situated near Bournemouth, available. The crossing time is 2 hours, 45 minutes aboard a high-speed craft. Poole Harbour is one of the largest natural harbours in the world and is busy with fishing boats and trade ships. The Port of Poole's terminal features a currency exchange service service, a left baggage service, a summer café, and good access to all areas of the terminal for physically disabled passengers.

Guernsey to Portsmouth ferries

The route between Guernsey and Portsmouth is operated by six weekly conventional ferries, these vessels aren't very fast and it takes the craft about 12 hours, 30 minutes to reach the Port of Portsmouth from Guernsey. Ferries operate on a daily base except for Sunday. Portsmouth is a vast port and the home of the Royal Navy. Amenities are comprehensive at the ferry terminal, with ATMs and a currency exchange office, shops and café's, a bar, a gift and souvenir shop, a newsagent and a travel centre and an information counter.

Guernsey to St Malo ferries

The Guernsey to St Malo ferry is available two times a day aboard a high-speed vessel which completes the voyage in just 45 minutes. More than one million travellers pass through St Malo's port annually. The port features two ferry terminals, each of which provides good amenities including souvenir shops, café's, and a currency exchange service. The fantastic granite-walled town of St Malo attracts huge crowds of tourists with its ancient ambience, breathtaking scenery and wonderful beaches, making it one of the most visited and popular tourist destinations in the French region of Brittany.

Guernsey to Weymouth ferries

Also available are two daily sailings from Guernsey to Weymouth aboard a Condor Ferries fast craft. The duration of the voyage lasts 2 hours, 30 minutes. Weymouth Port features modern, but not extensive, passenger amenities such as a small convenience shop selling newspapers and light snacks. However, this quaint seaside town positioned on the south coast of England has become one Britain's chief resort areas. The town boasts a fine beach, quality eateries and a truly wonderful surrounding countryside.
