Ferry routes from Fleetwood

Fleetwood's ferry port provides two ferry sailings, with one service to Douglas on the Isle of Man operated by vessels from the Isle of Man Steam Packet Company, and a second crossing to Larne in Northern Ireland serviced by crafts from P&O Irish Sea Ferries.

Fleetwood to Larne ferries

Sailings to Larne in Northern Ireland are operated by Stena Line Ferry Company, with two daily voyages. Crossing times are approximately 8 hours and ferries are capable of transporting both passengers and cars. Facilities and services at Larne include shops, an ATM and a café, as well as car parking and dedicated amenities for disabled passengers.

Larne is Northern Ireland's busiest ferry port with daily crossings from Troon, Cairnryan, and Fleetwood in the UK. Its position on the northern coast makes it an ideal arrival point if you would like to explore Ireland's northern regions. In fact, all of the island's areas are accessible from Larne, as the city is well linked to the country's main bus, rail and road networks. The port handles 38 arrivals and departures daily, and provides the fastest sea crossing to the United Kingdom.

Fleetwood to Douglas ferries

Crossings by ferry to Douglas on the Isle of Man are provided by the Isle of Man Steam Packet Company. Sailings are limited and voyages only take place a few times a week. Crossing time is approximately 2 hours, 25 minutes. A café and a convenience shop are among the few amenities the Port of Douglas provides.

The Isle of Man has good connections to both Ireland and the UK, with daily ferries departing from Dublin, Belfast, Liverpool and Heysham. The tiny island measures just 33 miles by 13 miles but within these shores there is a treasure of discoveries to be made. It is a very unique island, with its own legal system and the globe's oldest continuous parliament.
