Fastcraft ferries complete the journey in 2 hours, 45 minutes, while conventional vessels take over 4 hours. Belfast is Ireland's largest ferry port, handling over two million passengers annually. Facilities at the port aren't extensive; however, refreshments are available in the Departures lounge of the passenger terminal. Douglas to Dublin ferriesThree times a week, slow ferries operate on the route year-round, while Fastcraft services are available during the summer months. Regular ferries complete the journey in 4 hours, 30 minutes, while Fastcraft make the crossing in 2 hours, 45 minutes. Dublin Port serves well over one million passengers per year, and ranks as the busiest passenger ferry port in Ireland. Ferries on this route run twice a day in each direction, complemented by Fastcraft services during the summer months. Crossings to Heysham take 2 hours onboard the Fastcraft ferries, and 3 hours, 30 minutes on conventional vessels. The Port of Heysham is a major 24-hour passenger and freight ferry port, situated at the southern end of Morecambe Bay. Facilities at the passenger terminal include a TV/video lounge, a children's play area, baby-changing rooms, disabled toilets and vending machines and a Little Chef Express, offering fast-food. Douglas to Liverpool ferriesAt least three daily ferry services run to Liverpool, with departures in the morning, the late afternoon and in the evening. Crossings take 2 hours, 30 minutes on Fastcraft services, and 4 hours on normal ferries. There are as many as five daily crossings in peak season. The vast Port of Liverpool is one of the UK's principal ports and it covers both banks of the River Mersey, both in Liverpool and in Birkenhead. Douglas to Fleetwood ferriesFerry services between Douglas and Fleetwood run on a limited number of crossings per week, with a sailing time of 4 hours. Situated on the Lancashire coast, Fleetwood is well-established as one of the UK's major ports for traffic with Northern Ireland. It is an ideal base for cruises to Morecambe Bay and trip on the Irish Sea. Facilities at the port terminal are limited, with just a small coffee shop and a convenience store available.
