Port of East Cowes services

Cowes has a great location in southern England on the Isle of Wight, and a vehicle and passenger ferry service provides access to East Cowes from Southampton. East Cowes is the smaller part of Cowes and boasts a lovely seafront suitable for the entire family. The Solent and the Hampshire coastline provide magnificent views of yachting. The famous annual Cowes Week regatta is also hosted by East Cowes.

The Isle of Wight boasts wonderful natural beauty and is a unique picturesque part of Britain. It is not difficult to get up close to nature due to a comprehensive network of walking paths. Families won't get bored during their stay at this year-round popular tourist destination, as there are several attractions suitable for the entire family. Alternatively, the Isle of Wight offers good restaurants, excellent art galleries and historical buildings.

The ferry terminal is situated just a short walk from the floating bridge, which is positioned just north of the shopping area. A few essential services and facilities can just a short distance from the port including banks, several shops and eateries.

All throughout the year Red Funnel Group runs ferry crossings between East Cowes, West Cowes and Southampton. The Passenger Vehicle Ferry transports vehicles, buses, freight and passengers with a crossing time of 55 minutes. Crossings with the Red Jet Hi-Speed services are only available for passengers and it takes the craft just 22 minutes to reach Southampton from West Cowes.
