Port of Copenhagen services

Copenhagen Port is principal main port for the region of Øresund, and it provides a regional gateway to the Baltic Sea. Malmø in Sweden jointly runs this trade harbour with Copenhagen, with the intention of offering port services to more than three million Danes and Swedes living within a 60-mile radius.

Ferry services link Poland, Norway and Sweden with the Danish capital, Copenhagen. Services are scheduled across the week. The Port of Copenhagen handles more than four million passengers annually on their way to or from Swinoujscie (Poland), Malmø (Sweden), Helsingborg (Sweden) or Oslo (Norway).

The facility offers many amenities and features currency exchange service, restaurants, cafés and shops. Onboard most of the crafts, you'll find outstanding passenger facilities, with onboard food amenities on all DFDS Seaways vessels.

Physically handicapped passengers can access the terminal trouble-free, as the building is wheelchair-friendly in design. There are also specially designated toilets for disabled persons. In addition, all vessels cater for those with physical disabilities.

Both short-duration and long-duration car parking spaces are provided next to the ferry terminal building.

DFDS Seaways operates services on the Copenhagen-Helsingborg route, with vessels leaving daily at 17:00. The sea voyage takes approximately 2 hours. After the en-route stop at Helsingborg, the journey continues onto the Norwegian capital city of Oslo, arriving at the city's harbour the next morning at 09:00.

The ferry service between the Polish port of Swinoujscie and Copenhagen is operated by the Polish ferry company, Polferries. Their vessels leave the port at 20:00 on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays, arriving at the port of Swinoujscie at 08:00 the next day. A daytime sailing is available on Sundays, which departs at 10:30 and arrives at its destination at 20:00. Travellers are recommended to check-in at least 1 hour, 30 minutes before the ferry departure time.

Flyvebådene runs a passenger hydrofoil sailing between the Swedish city of Malmø and Copenhagen. The journey onboard the high-speed hydrofoil craft lasts just 45 minutes.
