Ferry routes from Calvi
The port of Calvi provides just a few ferry routes, all of which are operated by either SNCM Ferries or Corsica Ferries. SNCM Ferries operates sailings to the French ports of Marseille and Nice, while Corsica Ferries operates two services to the Port of Nice in the south of France.
Calvi to Nice ferries
The Port of Nice in the Côte d'Azur provides the most popular embarking point for travellers to Corsica. SNCM Ferries and Corsica Ferries both provide a high-speed service on this route, which is available all year round; the sailing time is about 3 hours. Corsica Ferries also offers a slower service aimed at travellers who take their cars with them. The sailing time aboard this conventional service is approximately 5 hours, 30 minutes. Nice's port is one of the busiest in the south of France, with ferry sailings to Corsica transporting around 750,000 passengers annually, and the highly modern amenities available at the port reflecting this huge amount of traffic.
Calvi to Marseille ferries
The only sailing available on the Calvi-Marseille route is an overnight crossing operated by SNCM Ferries, with a sailing time of around 11 hours, 30 minutes. Ferries operating this route are available all year round. Marseille is a vibrant and advanced port with several terminals taking care of sailings to destinations across the Mediterranean Sea. The recently refurbished Terminal Two handles the sea voyages to Calvi.
