Ferry companies from Calais

There are two ferry companies operating services from Calais. The large and well established P&O Ferries provides daily hourly crossings and the less large but efficient and reputable Sea France Ferry Company offers the same route as well. They also provide almost every hour of the day a sailing to Dover.

P&O Ferries

P&O Ferries provides four ferry routes navigating from Great Britain to the continent. All their sea voyages take you to Europe's gateways with outstanding access to the motorway network for your onward travels. The route to Dover is available up to 25 times per day with a sailing time about 1 hour, 15 minutes.

Sea France is the sole French company providing services from Calais to Dover. The operator has a fleet of just five crafts but still has the capacity of operating up to 18 dailysailings. Sea France's flagship ships are named the Seafrance Cézanne, Seafrance Rodin, and the Sea France Manet.

All of their vessels provide a high standard selection of traveller conveniences, services and facilities. Aboard the SeaFrance Rodin the journey to Dover lasts 1 hour, 10 minutes while the other vessels have a sailing time of 1 hour, 30 minutes.
