P&O Irish Sea Ferries
P&O Ferries operate Irish Sea routes in addition to their popular short sea crossings to France.
If you sail on the fastcraft The P&O Express, this was built in 1998. It can accommodate 868 passengers and has room for 225 passenger cars.
Their superferry the European Causeway can transport 375 vehicles and can accommodate 410 passengers. Meanwhile, the European Highlander can transport 410 passengers and 375 vehicles. Both have crews of 55 and both ferries are comfortably fitted for passenger travel.
Stena Line
Stena Line operates in Scandinavia, the North Sea and the Irish Sea with a network of 18 ferry routes across Europe. Stena Line has a modern fleet with a total of 35 vessels including their two new vessels for this route the Superfast VII and Superfast VIII.
During 2009, over 15 million passengers travelled with Stena Line. This included 3.3 million cars and 1.6 million freight units.
