The Port Of Aberdeen
Aberdeen lies 120 miles northeast of Edinburgh, on the banks of the rivers Dee and Don in the middle of the northeast coast.
It is based around a working harbour that handles around 4 million tonnes of cargo, valued at approximately £1.5 billion, for a wide range of industries.
Aberdeen Ferry port is one of Britain's busiest international ports and is the principal commercial port for the North East of Scotland. The Port is also Scotland's main East Coast ferry port and port-of-call for cruise ships.
