FESPA is to hold its 2012 event at the Excel Centre in London Docklands
FESPA has announced that its next global event will be held in the ExCel exhibition centre in London’s City Docklands. The flagship event will run from June 25 to 29 in 2013, when it is hoped that the UK setting will attract a larger English-speaking audience and create a memorable experience for visitors and exhibitors. The English capital city has a reputation as a multicultural hub of business and communication.
The ExCel site is linked to central London and beyond by three Docklands Light Railway (DRL) stations and the Jubilee Underground line. The waterfront location also boasts parking for thousands of cars and it is close to London’s City Airport as well as numerous bars and restaurants.
Visitors to the FESPA event will also benefit from the vast improvements that are currently being made to London’s transport system in preparation for the 2012 Olympic Games. Substantial public and private investment is being poured into transport facilities.
Since 2005, FESPA events have been held in various exciting European cities, including Geneva, Amsterdam, Berlin and Munich. This year’s event will be held in Messe, Germany, on June 22 and FESPA Digital events in 2011 and 2012 will take place in Hamburg and Barcelona.
