Summer scedule to continue into the New Year
Irish Ferries has announced that it will be extending its summer schedule on the Dublin route over the next few months, and extending it into 2010. The current schedules will be operational through winter into the New Year.
Travellers will be able to continue catching ferries from Holyhead to Dublin in the next few months, and the ferry company has also announced special fares to promote the extended timetable. Passengers travelling this route will have a choice of four round-trip services from the Holyhead ferry port.
The Ulysses vessel will continue making its twice daily crossings, and passengers can also opt to use the Stela Line ferry to get to Dublin or Dun Laoghaire from the ferry port in Holyhead. Also available is the fast ferry option on the Dublin Swift ferry between Holyhead and Dublin. This ferry can complete each leg of the round trip in less than one hour and fifty minutes.
Travellers wanting to make a ferry trip to Ireland will also have the choice of using Irish Ferries' Pembroke to Rosslare service.
Irish Ferries has said it will offer cheaper promotional fares that are up to 20% lower than those published, during the autumn and winter schedule.
