Passengers made redundant covered on Flybe

Flybe is offering its customers free travel cover allowing for full refunds if they become redundant.
The coverage applies to any passenger having to cancel a trip due to losing their job.
Anyone booking a flight, rental car or accommodation in January, for travel occurring before 24 October, will be covered by the policy.
Observers are saying that the airline’s move is an attempt to boost lagging sales in the New Year.
The International Air Travel Association (IATA) released new data last week indicating that air passenger numbers declined by 4.6 per cent in November, as compared with the same month in the previous year.
The drop in passenger traffic is attributed to the general softening of demand for air travel, which is seen as a contributor to the collapse of 26 airlines in 2008.
"These are unprecedented times and Flybe wants to do its bit to keep the economy moving," said Flybe’s chief commercial officer, Mike Rutter.
He added: "That's why we're introducing our completely free redundancy cancellation cover so that consumers are secure in the knowledge that if they lose their job before they travel, Flybe will give them a full refund."
Customers are automatically covered by the "Book With Confidence" plan, provided that they have been employed for more than two years in their current job.
