Daily service between Gibraltar-Morocco?

The former English-run rock of Gibraltar between Spain and Morocco sees many travellers from both Spain and the UK use it as a jumping-off point between Europe and northern Africa. Now the FRS ferry operator is considering increasing the frequency of trips made between Gibraltar and Morocco.

The service has been running on a weekly basis for some time now but the company believes there is a possibility that a daily service could be viable. Their big brains are burning on the issue as traffic to Gibraltar Airport is on the increase, and it is presumed that a god number of Britons flying in are continuing on the Northern African coast from there.

'We are working to develop the commercial plan to capture traffic from these areas, We are looking to see if it's viable,' says FRS managing director Luis Mora. The company already offers all0inclusive trips to Morocco from its other Spanish ports, and is looking to see if the strategy could work from Gibraltar as well, despite previous studies producing results that were less than encouraging.

The company has met with Gibraltar's tourism minister to see how the service could hypothetically operate.
