For the fifteenth time, Stena Line won the award for Ferry Company of the Year.

The Northern Ireland Travel news Awards have given the prize for the Ferry Company of the Year to the Stena Line for the fifteenth time.

Paul Grant from Stena took the prestigious award from Angela Rippon in the presentation ceremony which was held at the Slieve Donard Hotel in Newcastle.

Grant is the Head of Travel market for Stena Line UK and Ireland and was very enthusiastic about receiving the Tyrone Crystal trophy.

'I am absolutely delighted that Stena Line has won the Ferry Company of the Year title for the fifteenth time and all of us at Stena Line feel honored that the hard work we undertake to provide the best possible service for our customers has been honored once again,' said Paul.

Stena Line has the largest fleet of vessels offering ferry services across the Irish Sea and offers the most choices for travel between Ireland and Britain. Stena offers routes between Belfast and Stranraer, between Larne and Fleetwood, and between Rosslare and Fishguard. In addition, the company offers a route from Dun Laoghaire and Dublin Port to Holyhead.

Every year, Stena transports more than three million passengers on its ferries across the Irish Sea, which is more passengers than all other rival ferries combined. In Europe, the company carries over 17 million people on 34 vessels on routes through Europe, Scandinavia and the UK.
