LD Lines now offers more sailings to France than ever before and in assocaition with its sister company Transmarche Ferries also runs a service from Newhaven to Dieppe.
LD Lines runs ferries to France from Dover, Dieppe Portsmouth and Rosslare to Boulogne, Le Havre and Dieppe. Its new route Dover to Boulogne takes just 1¾ hours but in May 2009 LD Lines launches the largest diesel powered fast ferry to operate on the cross channel routes between Dover and Boulogne with a crossing time of just 1 hour.
Currently LD Lines operate a daily Portsmouth to Le Havre service and an additional summer timetable of sailings from Newhaven to Le Havre. The "Norman Spirit" ferry will remain on LD Lines' Portsmouth – Le Havre route.
