Ferry to Isle of Man

Although the Island is only 221 square miles with 80,000 residents it has a lot to offer tourists, not least, its beautiful rugged coastlines with basking sharks, museums and nature reserves. It has a Victorian railway system with steam engines dating back to the 1800's. It is also home of the famous Manx cat. The Isle of Man operates many diving schools and has some of the best diving sites in Europe. Its waters are teeming with sea life and you can enjoy boating trips and Basking Shark observation trips when they congregate there in the summer months.

Douglas, the island's capital, is on the eastern side and it is from here that you can catch the steam train to Port Erin on the south of the island. Douglas is home to many of the islands main tourist attractions including museums, its old original prison, a theatre and the home of the island's horse drawn trams.
