Port of Rosslare services

Rosslare Port is located in Ireland's County Wexford. The port is the nearest place from the southern part of Ireland to the United Kingdom and the European mainland. The facility is the most significant ferry port in Ireland and a hub of all the main roll-on, roll-off passenger and freight shipping services that navigate the Irish Sea, and the port operates routes across the continent.

The modern facility boasts plenty of passenger facilities such as a Department of Agriculture office, comfortable waiting lounge and restaurant, a check-in and play area for kids, a waterfront bar, car rental services and currency exchange, immigration facilities and baby-changing rooms. Ferry services from the Port of Rosslare to several European ports are available. The sea voyage to Pembroke lasts approximately 4 hours and Irish Ferries runs this service. They provide sailings twice a day. The ferry service to Fishguard is operated year-round by Stena Line. The ferry operator offers two services a day between Rosslare and Fishguard. It takes the vessels about 3 hours, 30 minutes to reach Fishguard Port from Rosslare.

From April until September, Stena Line runs high-speed ferry services up to four times a day from Rosslare to the Port of Fishguard. The fast craft, the Stena Lynx, has a sailing time of only 2 hours.

Irish Ferries run the Rosslare-Cherbourg-Roscoff sailing. There are navigations every second day between March and September, and between October and March. The company operates three services per week. The Normandy is the operator's craft which navigates this route.

Celtic Link Ferries LTD provides a service between the Port of Rosslare and the Port of Cherbourg in northern France. This service is offered year-round, three times a week. The Diplomat is the ferry which sails on this route. All ferry services offer vehicle and passenger sailings.
