Ferry companies from Ostend
There is only one company operating passenger services directly from Belgium to England's south. Transeuropa Ferries operates the eight daily sailings to Ramsgate in Kent. The passenger ferry service from Ostend to Dover is no longer available.
Transeuropa Ferries
Since November 1998 Transeuropa Shipping Lines has been operating ferry services successfully between the port of Ostend and Ramsgate in south England. On the first of June 2001 the company Transeuropa Ferries N.V. was founded.

The Oleander, Eurovoyager and the Larkspur are the three crafts carrying both passengers and cargo. Each of the vessels provides good onboard amenities, featuring a movie theatre showing recent films, a restaurant, comfortable lounges and a bar.
