Port of Oslo services

Off all the capitals in Scandinavia, Oslo is the oldest. The city has a rich past and plenty of culture to offer. Two forests surround Oslo which is situated on Oslofjord, a bay in Norway's southeast. The forests are known as the Oslomarka and Nordmarka. Due to its situation, Oslo is a picturesque city. The capital's large port provides connections by ferry with Danish and German destinations.

Amenities at the terminal aren't extensive but feature a small departures lounge and a coffee shop. Cafés and dining establishments are positioned close to the ferry terminal. Three ferry companies service the harbour. These are Stena Line, DFDS Seaways and Color Line.

All crafts offer facilities for physically disabled travellers including designated lavatories and wheelchair friendly areas throughout the terminal. You should notify the port authorities or ferry company if you require assistance on the ship or port when you book your ferry.

DFDS Seaways offers one daily voyage between Oslo and Copenhagen, Denmark. The duration of the journey lasts about 16 hours. Six weekly crossings to Kiel in Germany are provided by Color Line. Duration of the voyage to Germany is approximately 19 hours, 30 minutes. Color Line also operates six sailings per week to Hirtshals in Denmark with a sailing time of about 10 hours. A daily crossing between Oslo and the Port of Frederikshavn in Denmark is operated by Stena Line. The voyage takes approximately 8 hours, 30 minutes.
