The Ålandsfärjan is the vessel which operates the route between Port of Kapellskar and the Finnish island of Åland. Built in 1972 the ship can carry 963 passengers and 180 cars. Onboard facilities include an information desk, duty-free shop, children's play room, salon, sundeck bar, a restaurant and live entertainment. It takes the Ålandsfärjan approximately 2 hours, 30 minutes to reach Mariehamn on Åland from Kapellskar. During the summer season the Ålandsfärjan operates a direct sevice to Turku with a sailing time of about 10 hours.
