Stena Line is the sole ferry operator providing services between the Hook of Holland Port and the Port of Harwich in England. There are four inbound and four outbound sailings available every day.

Stena Line operates ferry passenger services between Holland and the UK, with four navigations daily in both directions. Services are available throughout the annum, with reduced crossings operated during Christmas and New Year.

Crafts which are operational on this popular route are the Stena Britannica, a Ropax Seamaster-class cargo and passenger craft; the Stena Discovery, a catamaran-class high-speed craft; and the Stena Hollandica, a Ropax-class freight and passenger ship.

Stena Discovery leaves the Hook of Holland port two times daily and is capable of crossing the New Waterway within 4 hours. The craft can accommodate 1,500 people and has a car capacity of 375. Stena Discovery provides the most comprehensive passenger onboard amenities compared with the other two vessels. These feature a currency exchange service, five restaurants, two movie theatres, three bars, entertainment and play areas for children, and a shop.

Both the Stena Britannica and the Stena Hollandica depart once a day. Stena Britannica offers an overnight service from the Hook of Holland to Harwich, while Stena Hollandica operates the 'Caravan Special' service. Stena Hollandica can transport 400 persons and a significant quantity of cargo, while the Stena Britannica can accommodate 900 people in addition to cargo. It takes the two ships 6 hours, 30 minutes to reach the Port of Harwich from the Hook of Holland.

Both crafts provide similar onboard features. These include a bar, restaurant, a movie theatre, gaming slot machines and a casino, shopping outlets, a currency exchange service and comfortable overnight cabins that are equipped with showers. Different cabin sizes are available onboard including specially designated cabins for physically disabled passengers and VIP cabins, the latter which is only available onboard the Stena Hollandica.
