P&O Irish Sea Ferries operate sailings between Dublin to Liverpool. There are up to 3 crossings per day on three conventional ferries, the Norbay, Norbank and European Endeavour, taking 7 hours, 30 minutes.
Choose to travel overnight and sleep the voyage away or take the daytime crossing and enjoy the onboard facilities including restaurants, bars and shops.
Please note that this service is unavailable to foot passengers and there are no lifts to the main passenger areas and access is by a staircase, so may be unsuitable for the infirm or disabled.
Irish Ferries
Irish Ferries run both the Ulysses conventional craft and the high-speed catamaran vessel, the Jonathan Swift, between the city of Dublin and the Port of Holyhead, all year round. The conventional and gigantic Ulysses sails the voyage in 3 hours, 15 minutes and makes two daily return crossings from Terminal 1. It takes the Jonathan Swift just 1 hour, 49 minutes to complete the journey and the service is operated again twice daily departing from Terminal 1.
The Ulysses is the biggest car ferry in the world and can easily accommodate 2,000 persons and provides space for 650 cars. There is a fabulous range of onboard self-service eateries, bars, cafés and full-service restaurants. Stena Line operate two Superferries on the Dublin to Holyhead route. Both conventional ferries take 3 hours, 15 minutes.
