Irish Ferries runs three weekly crossings from Cherbourg to the Irish Port of Rosslare, with the voyage taking 17 hours.
The new Celtic Link LTD also provides a nautical connection between Cherbourg Port and Rosslare three times a week, with a sailing time of about 18 hours, 30 minutes.
