Ferry routes from Chania
Two ferry companies are currently offering services to Chania. Hellenic Seaways and ANEK Lines both run a frequent service between the Chania Port at Souda and the Port of Piraeus.
Chania to Piraeus ferries
Travellers wishing to travel this route can choose from two crossings, with both available all year round. An overnight sea voyage runs between the ports daily, with a sailing time of approximately 9 hours; you also have the option to travel the high-speed sailing that operates daily with the duration of the trip just lasting 4 hours, 30 minutes.
The port of Piraeus has been the chief port in Athens for hundreds of years and is still Greece's most vital port. The port is positioned six miles from the centre of Athens and it has excellent amenities not far away from the ferry terminals.
