Norfolkline add coaches to help passengers

Coaches are being made available to foot passengers on the Dover to Dunkirk route by Norfolkline. Norfolkline would not normally accept foot passengers but has decided to offer this additional service to assist the large numbers of stranded travelers turning up at the port.

The coaches are available on a first come first served basis for a limited number of crossings TODAY the 20th April. Travelers should contact the Norfolkline travel desk in the Travel Centre at Dover port for details. These coaches will take customers from the Dover port Travel Centre across the English Channel to Dunkirk on Norfolkline ferries and leave customers at the Dunkirk railway station. Returning coaches from Dunkirk will disembark customers at the Travel Centre at the port of Dover.

A coach will run on the 14:00 crossing from Dover to Dunkirk and the last one will depart on the 18:00 crossing from Dover to Dunkirk. The first coach from Dunkirk to Dover will leave on the 14:00 crossing local time and the last coach from Dunkirk to Dover will depart on the 24:00 crossing local time.
