Cards to reduce booking time to under a minute
New contactless smart card operators could possibly be quite helpful to car hire customers in regards to speeding up booking procedures.
Because of new smart card technology, privileged members of a unique car hire company can now have access to their booking within just 30 minutes.
People who apply for rental services from company Streetcar will be allowed to use the contactless operators to hold a car online or via the phone, with bookings being only 1 minute long to secure a car.
The service has now joined up with BMW in order to give customers a chance to drive one of the BMWs with the device for as little as £6.95 a day.
People who need the car for occasional use or just want to drive a BMW for a short period of time will be able to use the contactless smart cards to book a BMW 1 or 3 Series for as long as they'd like - a day, a week or even a month.
