Websites like Facebook and Twitter are easily accessible all over the world now. You can update such pages from mobile phones with your latest status or pictures downloading directly. Millions of people worldwide are forgetting to relax by the pool with cocktail in hand.
A recent survey by lastminute.com reveals that 42 per cent of 18-24 year olds admit to spending time on holiday updating their pages or blogs.
A predicted rise in UK holidays this year will see many youngsters who are already well travelled struggling for something to do. Instead, they will turn to their laptops and mobile phones and not get the desired relaxation a holiday can bring.
