Stena Line is offering to pamper ferry guests with new services

For travellers who have been put off international vacations because of stressful security queues and airport hassles, Stena Line may have the solution. The ferry company recently partnered with New York City Nails in order to provide a treatment zone on board their ferries from Belfast to Stranraer which will help passengers relax while on board.

Not only does the ferry offer a reprieve from lengthy check-in procedures, extra baggage charges and the possibility of lost luggage, it also offers the “Manhattan Manicure”, a “Treat and Tidy” and neck and shoulder massages. The great service and the spa treatments ensure that passengers will arrive at their destination refreshed and relaxed.

Tiernan Lynch is the director of New York City Nails. He believes the partnership is an ideal fusion of two business ideas. "New York City Nails are delighted to be partnering with Stena Line in this new venture. We are confident that with the introduction of a New York City Nail bar on board the HSS Stena Voyager that we can provide a further affordable luxury service. We hope that this will be the beginning of a long and mutually beneficial relationship for both our companies," Mr. Lynch said.

Stephen Bryden the head of onboard services for Stena Line hopes the new services will help passengers relax more. He said, "We are delighted to be able to offer customers the opportunity to relax with a manicure or a massage when they travel with Stena Line. We are continuously looking for new ways to ensure we provide an enjoyable experience and there is no better way than a bit of pampering as you sail across the Irish Sea."
