DFDS Seaways has specials on summer crossings

DFDS Seaways is offering reduced prices on summer crossings from the UK to Scandinavia. Fantastic savings are available on sea crossings to Esbjerg in Denmark, Amsterdam and Bergen and Stavanger in Norway. Not only are the ports exciting places to explore, but they are fantastic gateways to France, the Mediterranean and Scandinavia.

One of the biggest problems with summer travelling is dealing with airports. Not only are airplane tickets expensive, but lining up at security queues and dealing with baggage restrictions is a stressful way to start a vacation.

All of DFDS Seaways’ fares include the price of overnight accommodation in a standard onboard cabin as well as transportation for a car and two people. Travelers can add-on extra meals, upgrade their cabins, or pay for more people or larger vehicles like motor homes and caravans.

One way fares from Newcastle to Amsterdam start at £132 and fares to Norway start at £176, From Harwich, travelers can take the ferry to Esbjerg, which costs £196.

Anyone planning a trip to Scandinavia this summer should pick up the recently produced camping brochure developed by VisitDenmark. The brochure is specifically aimed at holidaymakers from the UK driving through Scandinavia looking for great ways to experience the amazing scenery. Camping locations in rural and urban locations throughout the country, including beautiful coastal spots, are included.
